Last updated 2 November 2026. Short version: this website stores nothing you type, and we use anonymous analytics to make the site better.
This policy explains what personal data Punjabi Bites & Meals — a food brand of NanakRamFoods, a registered company based in Jaipur (“we”, “us”) — collects when you visit this website or order from us, why, and the choices you have. We handle personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
What we collect
- Nothing you type is stored on this website. There are no accounts and no sign-in. The enquiry form, plan calculator and party planner only prepare a WhatsApp message on your own device; it is sent only if you press send in WhatsApp.
- Your WhatsApp messages to us. When you message us, we receive your name, WhatsApp number and what you write (for example your order, area or event date). WhatsApp itself is run by Meta under WhatsApp’s privacy policy.
- How the website is used. Pages you visit, buttons you press (such as which WhatsApp button you used), your approximate location based on your IP address, and your browser and device type.
- Session recordings. We may record how pages are used — scrolling, clicks and page changes — to find what is confusing or broken. Anything you type into a form is always hidden from these recordings.
How we use it
- To take, cook and hand over your orders, plan your tiffin subscription or event, and reply to your questions.
- To understand which pages and dishes people look at, fix problems and improve the website.
- To keep the website secure and comply with the law.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising. We only use your WhatsApp number to talk to you about your orders and enquiries.
Who we share it with
Only with the services that run this website, which may only use it to provide their service to us:
- PostHog — website analytics and session recordings. Data is stored on PostHog’s servers in the United States.
- Cloudflare — hosts the website and keeps it fast and secure.
- WhatsApp (Meta) — for the messages you choose to send us.
The reviews on this site come from our public Google Business profile; showing them shares nothing about you with Google. We may also disclose data when the law requires it.
Cookies and similar technologies
PostHog stores a random identifier in your browser (a cookie and local storage) so it can tell a returning visitor from a new one. It does not contain your name or number. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings — the website works fully without them — or switch analytics off on this device:

How long we keep it
We keep WhatsApp conversations only as long as we need them for your orders and our accounts. Session recordings are deleted automatically after a short period, and other analytics data is kept only while it helps us improve the website.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct or update it;
- delete it;
- withdraw your consent, which stops future processing;
- nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to.
Message us on WhatsApp and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
This website is meant for adults placing food orders. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top.
